COME TO US
The Life-Giving Spring Mission belongs to the American Orthodox Church with its metropolis in Washington. Life-Giving Spring Parish follows the Julian calendar (old style). Services are held on Sundays with an all-night vigil on Saturday, as well as on all holidays.
ABOUT OUR PARISH
In 2010, with the blessing of Bishop Tikhon, Archbishop of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania (now Metropolitan of All America and Canada), a priest was invited to provide pastoral care for the Russian-speaking residents of the city of Philadelphia. The community began its existence at St. Stephen's Cathedral.
WORSHIP SERVICES
The atmosphere and spirit of our mission is very friendly, open and welcoming to everyone. People come to us from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and other post-Soviet countries.
On all holidays and Sundays, our church choir sings beautifully. After the Liturgy, our sisterhood offers a delicious, home-style meal and time together.
